I’ve been thinking about doing a Yoga Teacher Training Course abroad and keep coming back to two popular options: Rishikesh, India and Bali, Indonesia.
Some people say Rishikesh gives a more traditional and authentic yoga experience, while others say Bali offers a more balanced lifestyle with comfort, community, and beautiful surroundings.
For those who’ve done a TTC in either place:
- Was it actually worth the money and time?
- Which location felt more authentic or transformative?
- How intense was the training physically and mentally?
- Did you feel confident teaching afterward?
- Would you choose the same place again?
