Is Yoga TTC Really Worth It — Rishikesh or Bali?

I’ve been thinking about doing a Yoga Teacher Training Course abroad and keep coming back to two popular options: Rishikesh, India and Bali, Indonesia.

Some people say Rishikesh gives a more traditional and authentic yoga experience, while others say Bali offers a more balanced lifestyle with comfort, community, and beautiful surroundings.

For those who’ve done a TTC in either place:

• Was it actually worth the money and time?
• Which location felt more authentic or transformative?
• How intense was the training physically and mentally?
• Did you feel confident teaching afterward?
• Would you choose the same place again?
