gramiti
A post emergence herbicide is applied after weeds have germinated and are actively growing. In India, farmers use it when pre-emergent control was missed, when a flush of weeds comes after rain, or when a specific weed spectrum needs a targeted product. At Gramiti you can compare post-emergent herbicides by crop, active ingredient and weed type, including options for maize, paddy, wheat and sugarcane. Timing decides results, so spray when weeds are young and growing, usually at the stage printed on the label. Late sprays on large weeds often give poor control and waste money. Always check three things on the label: the crop it is registered for, the weeds it controls, and the stage at which it can safely be applied. Use the recommended water volume and a flat-fan nozzle for even coverage, and avoid spraying in strong wind or just before rain. Some post-emergent products need a surfactant, so read the label for details. Keep a record of what you sprayed and when.
