NEET PG Counselling 2026: Complete Guide for Registration, Choice Filling and Seat Allotment
-
[NEET PG Counselling 2026](https://www.careerxpert.in/exam/neet-pgbolded text) is one of the most important stages for candidates seeking admission to MD, MS and DNB courses. The counselling process includes registration, fee payment, choice filling, choice locking, seat allotment and reporting to the allotted medical college. Candidates should prepare their documents and college preferences before the official counselling schedule begins.
A good counselling strategy should consider NEET PG rank, category, preferred branch, budget, college type, previous-year closing ranks, fees, stipend and bond conditions. Candidates participating in MCC AIQ counselling should also separately check state counselling opportunities where eligible.
Instead of waiting until the last day of choice filling, aspirants should shortlist dream, realistic and safe options in advance. Official dates and rules should always be verified through MCC and the respective state counselling authorities before making final admission decisions.
