Where My CFP Practice Questions Caught Me Off Guard
-
I recently started working through a CFP Practice Test to see how prepared I actually was, and it definitely showed me a few areas I need to revisit.
I felt pretty comfortable with the general concepts, but tax planning and retirement planning were harder than I expected. I understood the basics, but the scenario-based questions made me slow down and think about how everything applied to the client's situation.
I also noticed I was spending too much time going back and forth between two answers and second-guessing myself.
Reviewing the questions I missed helped me figure out what to focus on next. It was much more useful than simply rereading my study materials.
Has anyone else found CFP questions much harder when several concepts have to be applied to the same client scenario?
