What I Check Before Using a New Online Platform

Usually when I find a new website I like to do some research before signing up. I don’t like to put my details right away especially when I am not familiar with the website.
The first thing I look at is usually the web address. Sometimes there are pages with very similar names so it's easy to get to the wrong one. I also check out the site to see how easily you can find basic information and support details.
