I recently came across a small office project where the installer was confused about whether all cameras needed separate power adapters or if a single network cable could handle everything. That’s when I started digging into how modern switches handle this.

From what I’ve seen, setups using TP-Link JetStream switches can actually simplify the whole process. Instead of messy wiring and extra power sources, PoE support can deliver both data and power through one cable, which makes camera installations way cleaner and more reliable.

I’m curious though how others are handling larger deployments. Do you rely fully on PoE ports, or mix in injectors for edge cases?
