A quality human hair lace front wigs can last about 6-12 months with everyday wear. However, how long it looks its best depends on the quality of the hair tier, the lace that is used to build up the frontal, and your washing frequency.

If you get virgin hair top grade, then that unit can go on way past 1 year or 2 with care. If it's regular virgin hair, then its 6 to 8-month range. I think the lace goes before the hair, though. Thin HD Lace gives you the ultimate melted-in look, but the frail, fine mesh that the hd is, it will rip and tear far sooner than a Swiss lace will.

The actual perpetrators of frontal longevity issues are consistent daily heat, over-bleaching your knots and applying an excessive amount of glue. Ripping the glue with harsh alcohol strips the moisture away from the roots, that make your frontal go thin or bald at your hairline in a while.

To make your wig last longer. Put it on the wig mannequin overnight, and do use some serum to control hot tools, or have a glueless wig installed to save your front knot.
