Is partnering with a specialized webflow design agency actually worth the investment?
-
We’ve been working with an existing WordPress site for a fast-growing SaaS company and between constant plugin updates, security patches and a cumbersome builder it’s really starting to impede progress. We’re actively contemplating a full platform migration to Webflow to take advantage of a cleaner code-base, more fluid animations and ultimately, greater design freedom.
Which leads to my primary concern: Is this full rebuild going to be most effectively done in-house or would we be better served outsourcing this project to a professional Webflow Design Agency? For anyone who has outsourced a project to Webflow development professionals in the past, was the final output of such an engagement worth the investment?
Although Webflow is technically a "no-code" platform I recognize that implementing complex custom CMS structures, intricately sequenced interactions, dynamically filtered results, and a truly responsive site will likely require dedicated development skills. Did working with an agency get our build to the market any quicker and contribute to our converting clients, or were we plagued by scope creep, team conflicts and missed deadlines? Any personal insights into your experience working with or against an agency, along with contract tips, pitfalls to avoid, and any deal-breaker flags to look for are enormously appreciated!
