API / SDK for processing video not on the glasses

what are the capabilities of the glasses in term of sending the data being captured by the camera through the usb typeC cable to process it in the phone? have you guys done it before?
say for example i want to capture video and attach to each video frame the 6DOF positional tracker info, then send it to a smartphone process it and send it back with augmented reality to present in the glasses.
