We are looking to migrate to a headless setup or at least a highly customized Plus build, which means we desperately need to hire a top-tier shopify website agency.
Here is my biggest fear, though: I’ve heard horror stories from founders who dropped six figures on a "premium" development team, only to be handed over to junior devs the second the contract was signed. I'm looking for a partner that has experience converting rates as well as advanced backend integration skills. I also want these partnerships to have been developed in a systematic fashion and will have followed through on the vetting process of working with the developers that will have created the code for your projects. Can you tell me how you vetted (do you talk to) the developer who will be working on your project? Are there specific red flags that I should consider when I am reviewing developers when I do my initial interviews? I want to make sure we do this right the first time, so any insider advice would be a massive lifesaver right now.
